This has to be one of our favourite white wines. Venica are undisputed stars in the Friuli region of North East Italy, and their Ronco del Mele (Hill of Apples) is their ultimate flagship white. From a single vineyard, the nose of this Sauvignon Blanc shouts class - a hint of ripe peaches gives a wonderful background and the palate is balanced, refreshing and hugely long. A truly great white for classic fish or white meat dishes.
