If you are yet to understand that cheap Pinot Grigio doesn't taste of anything at all, then please take our word for it. However, add a judicious amount of the slightly spicy, lemony Garganega grape (at home in Soave) and you have a wonderful example of what cheap Pinot Grigio should taste like! Dry, yet floral, light but not thin - a fantastic quaff with or without food. Hugely successful as the Goring & Streatley Jubilee Wine!
