Kevin Judd (formerly chief winemaker at Cloudy Bay for 25 years) branched out on his own just three years ago. His Greywacke 2012 is from a very small production, but very high quality Marlborough vintage and is already tasting wonderful. Lifted by a fresh nose of elderflower and gooseberry, there is sumptuous, rich and intense fruit on the palate backed up by great length and minerality on the scintillatingly fresh finish.
It is delicious on its own, a wonderful match with seafood or fish dishes and particularly successful with the flavours of Asian cuisine. Our biggest selling, quality, New World White and highly recommended.
